Life Cycle: Perennial.

Flowers: Its flowers are dark, formed in spring and summer and decorated by grooved spaths in different colors according to the horticultural variety.

Lighting: Should be kept in half shade, avoiding direct sunlight during the most intense hours. The best time is between 7 and 10 am and in the afternoon after 2 pm.

Watering: The soil must be kept moist, watering every other day. But without soaking. Spray the leaves with water during the high summer.

Substrate: Earth rich in organic compost and good for drainage. The soil mix indicated for planting is as follows: One part of common soil, one part of vegetable soil, two parts of organic compost.

Propagation or Replanting Method: It is multiplied by the lateral seedlings and by division of the stem, in this case it is only necessary to carefully remove the side seedlings and plant in a substrate rich in organic compost keeping the soil always moist.
